| Kamelot Albums Ranked
Been a fan of theirs ever since I heard Karma back in 2001. With the release of their newest album "Haven"
I've decided to rank their discography, so here it is, | 1 | | Kamelot Epica
One of the best power/prog metal albums out there. Truly a masterpiece, this first part concept album is inspired by the story of Goethe's Faust.
Highlights: Center Of the Univerrse, Farewell, Edge of Paradise, Descent Of The Archangel, Feast for the Vain, 3 Ways to Epica | 2 | | Kamelot The Black Halo
This concept album concludes the story told in "Epica". Less power metal than it's predecessor and more prog this album shines through with it's mid-tempo rockers.
Highlights: March Of Mephisto The Haunting(Somewhere in time), Soul Society, The Black Halo, Nothing Ever Dies | 3 | | Kamelot Karma
Discovered Kamelot through this album so it has lots of sentimental value.
Some of their best blistering power metal songs such as Karma and Forever can be found here with a great trilogy of songs on Elizabeth Bathory, especially Elizabeth III Fall From Grace | 4 | | Kamelot The Fourth Legacy
This was the album that paved the way for their success, This album was great from start to end and showed great promise.
Highlights: The Fourth Legacy, Nights of Arabia, The Shadow Of Uther, Lunar Sanctum. | 5 | | Kamelot Haven
Kamelot is back to form! Karevik finally adds something new to the band and proves he is more than a Roy Khan reflection.
Highlights: Insomnia, Under Grey Skies, Liar Liar (Wasteland Monarchy), Beautiful Apocalypse | 6 | | Kamelot Poetry for the Poisoned
This album is quite different for Kamelot, A lot more darker and experimental than anything they have previously done before. Roy's vocals on here are some of his best work and is a showcase of his versatility. I am full aware that this album is not held in high regards by many but to me this album with repeated listens has clearly stood the test of time.
Highlights: The Great Pandemonium, The Zodiac, Hunter's Season | 7 | | Kamelot Silverthorn
Showed promise, but couldn't stop thinking Karevik was trying too hard to sound like Roy and lost emotion in the process. Didn't stand up as well with repeated listens.
Highlights: Sacrimony (Angel of Afterlife), Falling Like The Fahrenheit, My Confession, Solitaire | 8 | | Kamelot Ghost Opera
Their most mellow album, loaded with orchestrations.
Highlights: The Pendulous Falls (bonus track), Love You to Death, The Human Stain, Ghost Opera | 9 | | Kamelot Siege Perilous
First album, with singer Roy Khan. Average album with nothing really standing out. | 10 | | Kamelot Dominion | 11 | | Kamelot Eternity | |
