06.13.14 | They've got a new album coming out later this year. I'm very much looking forward to it. I just spent four years studying Common Practice musical composition, so I find myself dissecting it in my head sometimes because I'm so used to having to do that every morning in class haha. |

06.13.14 | The necropsy returned largely positive. They do, in fact, love their primary bass motions and third/sixth harmonies. I like that they kept things short, too. Ten minute songs would be pretty overbearing with their style. |

06.14.14 | They work basically the same way -- no worries about parallel fifths or dissonant intervals on strong
beats because they're all rendered moot by conjunct motion and justification as passing tones or
accented passing tones. Makes for lots of freedom with pretty counterpoint melodies as long as you
follow the rules. |
