Bfhurricane 08.05.07	For technicality - you should really check out Kezia by Protest The Hero, and definitely some Dream Theater. I recommend Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory. My introduction to metal came with a few spontaneous listens of Iron Maiden and Metallica. If you want old school 80's metal, you cant go wrong with Ride the Lightning by Metallica and Powerslave by Iron Maiden.

Umm, lots of great bands, you can probably get int Children of Bodom (favorite band) also, but they're older stuff is way better than their nneer. Get Hatebreeder, Follow the Reaper, and Hatecrew Deathroll, all classics.
