I was aware there were some major health issues and I thought the worst. Didn’t realise he would pass away so soon after, he declined unbelievably rapidly. I’m absolutely gutted for his family.

Josh D. 08.17.23	I swore off this site a while back, but I have to comment on this. Diva was always nice to me, and particularly with my music. He bought my stuff, added them to his Sput lists, and was otherwise a supportive member of the site. I didn't know he was an older fella, and it doesn't matter of course, but it does feel nice in some way to see/know a different generation was on here being the passionate and eclectic music fan we know as Divaman. I mean damn, he's two years older than my parents and was rocking with So Hideous, Chvrches, and Sublime? Who is this guy?! A Sputnikmusic legend.
e210013 08.18.23	Unfortunately it was only today I saw this sad news. But, it wasn't really a surprise for me. From my many contacts with Diva I always had the impression that he was a great soul. It was one of my first contacts on Sputnik and one of my mainly supporters of my reviews. The same happened by me to his reviews too. By the other hand, he always was one of the most enthsiast of the prog tourneys, the tourneys initially organized by Friday and now organized by Jethro. He was really a guy with a massive knwledge about music, not only of prog music. I really felt is absence since the last year. It always was a pleasure to talk with him. He was a great friend of mine, here on Sputnik, one of my closest friends. I know that I'll miss you deeply here, my friend. I'll never forget you, dude. RIP hard. You deserves that.
