09.11.10 | I remember waking up and seeing it on the TV, I was like WTF is happening. I was in grade 5 and my teacher took 2 hours in the morning to talk about it. I live in canada so it didn't affect most people here in the same way but it was still a sad day to lose that many lives. |
Maniac!
09.11.10 | I was in school (2nd grade) and they cut school early. I went home to see my mother crying in front of the T.V. I had no idea what was going on. |

09.11.10 | i was in 8th grade social studies as it happened. the teacher got a phone call and turned the tv on, we watched the second plane hit the tower and then a split screen came up showing that the pentagon was on fire. we watched for the rest of that class, but for some reason the principle and all the other teachers were tremendous douchebags about it, and we weren't allowed to watch tv or talk about what was going on. i pretty much knew what was going on because it was obviously a terrorist attack, but i didn't find out much more until i got home from school that day. |

09.11.10 | Too bad humor died on that day. Not because of the twin towers mind you, just most modern stand-up comedians suck. |

09.11.10 | I was in year 6 Primary school and i was in the middle of a lesson when my teacher was notified of the september 11th attacks and told the whole class what had happened. I was stunned and couldnt believe that anyone could do such a thing, such naivity when your 10 years old. Anyway, i never saw the attacks before school as i didnt watch the news that morning and apparently my teacher didnt either but some of my classmates did and confirmed to me what had happened. It was only when i got home in the afternoon after school that i actually saw what had happened. I was honestly shocked and horrified when i watched it all with my own eyes. I had nightmares afterwards including actually being in one of the twin towers itself and watching the plane crashed into the same floor as i was on. Was freaky stuff. |

09.11.10 | I was in 9th grade, and I remember hearing something about airplanes crashing in the morning, but it wasn't until fifth period (about 1:00-ish or so) that I got the full story. I really didn't comprehend it until MONTHS later. |

09.11.10 | Just seen a new doc about it, with a load of military tapes in it. Apparently the military reacted with old cold war protocols and the fighters actually flew out to sea at first. Even now seeing the people jumping and falling makes me shudder. |

09.12.10 | I was pretty young. Woke up on the 12th and it was all over the news. Of course I didn't understand how serious it was... It was only until I watched "The Falling Man" fairly recently that I've actually got some sense of how fucked up that day was. All those people stuck up on the higher floors... |
