| Goldfrapp Ranked
Finally got around to Silver Eye! | | 7 | | Goldfrapp
Head First
This is super boring. Inoffensive, though.
2.5/5
Best track: "Hunt"
Worst: "Voicething" | | 6 | | Goldfrapp
Silver Eye
I want to like this more, but it's missing bite, but also isn't ethereal enough -two things Goldfrapp is usually better at doing. Leagues above Head First still.
3.5/5
Best: "Zodiac Black"
Worst: "Tigerman" | | 5 | | Goldfrapp
Black Cherry
A mixed big for sure. Song really strong stuff next to some bland stuff.
3.5/5
Best: "Hairy Trees"
Worst: "Tiptoe" | | 4 | | Goldfrapp
Supernature
A better version of Black Cherry, but only by a little. The top tier stuff here is as good as the stuff on her best work, though.
3.5/5
Best: "Ride a White Horse"
Worst: "Lovely 2 C U" | | 3 | | Goldfrapp
Seventh Tree
Now this is the Goldfrapp I love. Pretty, fun, thoughtful.
4/5
Best: "Eat Yourself"
Worst: "A&E" | | 2 | | Goldfrapp
Tales Of Us
Wow, high concept with great execution. Odd that it's sandwiched between her two worst albums.
4.5/5
Best: "Drew"
Worst: "Ulla" | | 1 | | Goldfrapp
Felt Mountain
Not a bad moment on this masterpiece.
5/5
Best: "Lovely Head"
Worst: "Oompa Radar" (still cool though) | |

04.21.26 | Other than maybe people wanting 5 and 4 swapped, this is a very uncontroversial ranking, I know | RVAHC13
04.21.26 | 1 is 1 ahyessirr | gabba
04.21.26 | Always liked the female reproductive system represented in Alison’s hair on the cover of 1, which is 1 ofc. | markjamie
04.21.26 | Not sure I've ever loved a whole album, but Happiness is one of my favourite songs (and videos) of all time. | zakalwe
04.21.26 | 3 is 1 for me | ArsMoriendi
04.21.26 | @markjamie: Happiness is my 2nd fav on Seventh Tree, good choice | gabba
04.21.26 | Happiness is one of those very few songs where I absolutely don’t mind that it ends with fading out. It is typically the solution of a lazy artist, but here everything is perfect. | ArsMoriendi
04.21.26 | I don't mind fadeouts
A lot of the time they make perfect sense for songs. Especially if the song has a "it'll go on forever" kinda vibe |
