Futures 07.02.25	top drawer list mate. slide away always my number 1, the crescendo at the end if one of my favorite music moments ever. goosebumps every time. definitely got all the classic megabangers, next tier is where it gets interesting. where i'd put stuff like the shock of the lightning, stop crying your heart out, gas panic, don't go away.

zakalwe 07.03.25	There we go and in 24hrs off I go to Cardiff. I’ll be buggered if I’m going to do another list that was a right pain in the arse.
zakalwe 07.03.25	1990-1994 were the years where I realised music was an outlet for something and it wasn’t just mere ‘entertainment’ there was something tangible and deep rooted that you could connect with. Come 1992 and I was the stereotypical white teen albeit with a bit of a messed up family and an ever present air of violence at the forefront of everything. The late 80s and early 90s were a time where absolutely nothing was taken into consideration. You were either decent, weird, best left alone or a complete cunt and you were sorted out appropriately usually by way of a kicking if you fell into the latter bracket. I was a sensitive soul, soft as shite to some degree so people put me in the latter bracket but I stood my ground. Nirvana were THE band I had been looking for. They had it all, they had the anger and sarcasm and I went all in with the grunge thing, American ‘alt’ rock was and still is to this day is a go to. 1994. Kurt died. Everything changed for a couple of weeks. A void appeared. Then Oasis happened. Top of the Pops. June 1994. This wasn’t anything I had been looking for in particular. They didn’t speak for me but it was everything I knew. The excitement of the unknown and how amazing the United States must be was replaced over the next few months by appreciating how fucking normal ‘normal’ people were and how amazing the immediate environment I grew up in was. Here was a band who did not give the first fuck and stood their ground. 2025 Society has changed, a lot for the better, a lot for the worse. Since Oasis there has been fuck all close to how massive that band were or how they went about things. Even if the reunion is shite some of that magic will have been recaptured and for that the 200 quid I forked out for a ticket to see the opening night with three mates who I grew up with is not only miraculous but priceless. I’ll be in Wales, watching it all. Standing my ground.
DoofDoof 07.03.25	Oasis getting popular was the moment at school that overnight wearing a Sepultura or Carcass t-shirt marked you as a freak rather than part of the rebellious cool. They were the end of metal and Nirvana/grunge as the majority approved. Can't ever forgive them that but the Gallagher's were phenomenal twats and great entertainment for that, so all power to them, despite partially ruining my schooldays :D In honesty I think every kid needs that moment they step away from the majority and Oasis were the trend I couldn't get into, the line in the sand, the no room for compromise. So genuinely a big band in my life!
zakalwe 07.03.25	Haha Good lad. There was a lot of animosity towards them from all sides but nobody will ever rule out a pissed up sing along to any of their tunes. An institution!

Deez 07.05.25	Looked boss, was being a mopey bastard seeing vods of all the mobiles but seemed everyone was having a bounce so all good, quality they put that Jota pic up. Glad it lived up to your hype mate
zakalwe 07.05.25	The pre gig build up, atmosphere around the stadium. Everything was perfect. It was unbelievable.
zakalwe 07.06.25	Still getting over it but what I took from it all was. 1. The Noel and Liam relationship is strained. 2. Noel was always somebody who wore his aging years well but he must’ve been through the mill since 2023. He has aged more in these past two years than he did the previous 20. 3. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing. The buoyant nature, the feel good factor. A real sense of joy spread throughout the generations and across people from all over the planet. Never been to anything else like it ever. 4. Absolutely no hooligan attitude from fans, no drugs, no aggravation. It was bloody lovely. 5. The tunes sound incredible. 6. Liam is beyond the bollocks.
