03.17.25 | damn venin, I honestly had been struggling with that news for years myself. I thought the ones who were able to move on didn’t have that attachment like how I had, being a fan for 20 years but time apart helped separate what happened. It didn’t involve me, it didn’t involve anyone outside of that circle so I don’t feel right getting triggered by it even though it goes against my morals. But yeah as long as I don’t support my old musical hero, but everyone else in the band, then it’s fine by me at this point. The music def speaks for itself, in volumes. |

also what came out about the band? i tend not to care anyway unless the context of the music somehow changes or something (like you realize that the songs actually had subtext about molesting children or some shit). otherwise it doesn't usually phase me. most of the stuff i use on a daily basis probably has some dark history to it |

03.17.25 | Wow. Just read the band's statement. That's some heavy shit. There's a huge difference between taking accountability for your actions and coming clean because you can't live with yourself, and coming clean to get ahead of the story before it gets out of control. Sounds like he took the latter path.
"Nevertheless, with the heartbreak and horror we also grieve for the loss of our life’s work and a legacy that was sacred to us."
I understand the sentiment here, but I doubt most people agree that this ruins their legacy. |

03.19.25 | I'm not saying "separate art from artist" necessarily but if you view Neurosis as a single unit then there's dark aspects about it as much as light. It's dark and also cathartic. Same goes for each member contributing to this entity. So it that way I can live with it. |
