01.06.25 | I went into my local record store a couple months ago and there was a new autopsy record for $40 and I was like “yeah I think I’m over vinyl”
luckily I have a pretty decent collection but I just prefer buying flacs on bandcamp nowadays. |
RadioSuicide
01.06.25 | Yeah any sealed metal, punk, or rap records seem to be way too fuckin expensive these days. I’m still game sometimes, as I love collecting and gave up all my other expensive habits, but it is a pisser. Don’t mind paying for something cool, like a NM Japanese release of a classic record, but a lot of newer shit just ain’t worth it imo
@bloaf I also have that Rites record, absolute classic |

01.07.25 | This is why I have always been and will always be obsessed with CDs. I have a small vinyl collection but it’s only records I especially love and already have on compact disc. I have THOUSANDS of CDs. |
RadioSuicide
01.07.25 | Yeah that makes a lot of sense. Not opposed to CDs, I just think growing up alongside them made them less novel to me |
