West Savannah

Forgettable track/most derivative chorus hook of the album?

Aquemini

Rosa Parks

Tight verses mid accomplishment chorus does not kick

Skew It On The Bar-B

Don't love the refrain nearly enough enough to condone that much repetition, everything else about this one midkey slaps though. Last inessential track for me

Chonkyfire

""indubitably""
#1 if you're enough of a pasty indieboi, decent closer for the rest of us, twice as long as it needs to be but we stan power play in a decent closer

Sunnier side of the blaze haze that kicks in approx 90 seconds into Mamacita uh yh everyone knows this one is swag lfg

Mamacita

pleb filtering motherfuck of an edge-of-your-seat chorus that warrants every second of its massively indulgent repetition (get rekt, Skew It On The Bar-B) — the rest is a sexed-up spliff-tempo showstopping mess that this otherwise meticulous-to-the-point-of-maybe-a-lil-precious record very much needed. Masada verse is fire. Is it really an OutKast song? UH.

Da Art of Storytellin', Part 1

Andre verse is a straight classic. Chorus is all of the feels. Pacing is perfect. Narrative is vivid. No fat. Accurate title.

Slump

That chorus is the most infectious perky spring-in-your-step shitgrinning *shit* give me that sloppy funk give me all of it this song is such a fun mess let's GO

Return Of The 'G'

Simultaneously cemented every stereotype I ever harboured about listening to '90s hip hop while convincing me I could fuck with it a significant factor harder than I'd ever imagined. Rad fucking opener, irresistibly great flows, majestic central motif exceptionally thick beat we are balling oh also I love the horns

Y'all Scared

I know the appeal of this album is less that it goes hard than that it offers a ton of class verses across a full course meal of creative palette-hopping and universally palatable funks but

this do still go that hard. This right here is the "oh shit" moment Return Of The 'G' promised when it kicked off the record. Is it my firm favourite? Absolutely not tbh, the entire top 9 could rotate completely within a week or so and I'd be ez with it, but this one has me wired right now and we're gonna mark that for what it's worth
