It gets old for me to just clear out a building of bad guys, pick up a bunch of shit and then do that two hundred times all set to really bad quests and a terrible main story and main character. Like I need my story based games to have a good story. I also encountered several save/game breaking glitches during my playthrough and had to load 3 hour old saves and look up console commands to auto complete broken quests. And my god, whenever it forces you to build generators and that portal thing at the end, just kill me. I already don't like building things in games and Fallout 4 has by far the worst building system in a video game. |

04.24.24 | love Fallout and its setting definitely makes for an intriguing world to place a (new) story, there's so much you can do with it. It's great that they didn't try and base the storylines on the games themselves.

04.24.24 | Watched the first episode yesterday, not sure if I'm looking forward to keep watching it, the parts outside the vault weren't much engaging for me. I really wished they gave the pre bombing part of the story a bit more development, the idea of a nuclear war and bombs falling all around your country is pretty chilling, but it all went down so fast... I liked the vault and characters, but I felt the raid was a bit rushed, and yeah, the stimpak thing was a bit off to me, I don't think they needed to commit that much to the "game" aspect. The parts outside the vault felt like most other TV shows out there, and I'm not feeling the need to dedicate much of my time to that. |
