-Unknown - Untitled (name of the label) - Various Artists EP [uu006] (breaks/techno, super fun)
-7038634357 - Neo Seven (ambient/drone/couple noisy parts) - one of my faves of the year, top 10 probably. This guy used to do post-club kind of stuff but then he came out of nowhere with this amazing ambient album. Super unique approach too
-SEAR (US) - Grief in V Stages (blackened hardcore/skramz) another top 10-er, this one’s an absolute crusher. Like 15 minutes long but it leaves you winded
-Ostraca - Disaster (skramz/post-rock/post-metal) easily the most consistent skramz band going right now and one of the best. This album’s up there with The Gray in Between
-X or Size - Aether Ore (ambient/electronic) another one of my faves of the year, really ineffable shit
-Stella Research Committee - Killed Alive (no wave)
-Andy Guthrie - Blemished (singer-songwriter/field recordings)
-Surgeon - Crash Recoil (industrial techno)
-Tokinogake Collective - Time Series Processing 1 and 2 (insane experimental electronic/electroacoustic stuff)
-if i promise - On Departure (ambient)
-hand model - Will Life Reign Supreme Even in Death (some kind of post-industrial thing, really interesting vocals and lyrics as well as infectious beats)
