Soak

The best song on here, "Mesmerin", still is pretty weak. The cover of "Warm Leatherette" is super terrible. Too much opera, too many covers, and no fun moments.

Love

Love is definitely the "boring" Foetus album, but "Thrush" (featuring Jennifer Charles) is awesome. "Mon Agonie Douce" is pretty good too. It just drags on too long. And what's with that song about the Confederacy? lol

Gash

Foetus' major label album. It breaks the black, white, red, and grey (and sometimes yellow) theme hard. But man does "Slung" rule. It's too "metal" and too lengthy though. I definitely prefer a more industrial punk Foetus than an industrial metal Foetus.

Deaf

The first 2 tracks are some of Foetus' best, but most of this has "humble bedroom project" written all over it, for better or worse. Might sometimes hurt my ears.

Thaw

This one's a favorite of a lot of people and I get why, but it definitely started off Foetus' "kinda metal" era. "Don't Hide It Provide It" is a powerhouse though, can't deny that. "Hauss-on-Fah" might be too stupid and that's me saying this.

EDIT: "Hauss-on-Fah" has world-salady racist lyrics too? I knew I was right to hate it! I felt it in my bones!

Hide

A decently strong comeback from Love, though it's definitely a bottom-heavy album. Legit the final 4 tracks are the album's best. "Here Comes the Rain" is very lame, but I mean "You're Trying to Break Me" is top 5 Foetus, so it more than even outs.

Ache

Like Deaf, this one reeks of amateurism, but it's also just so damn fun. "J.Q. Murder", Mark of the Ostracizor", "Instead...I Became Anenome"????? Sometimes you just need to hear a guy frantically shouting over some raw keyboard jangles.

Flow

This has Foetus' best song "Suspect" on it and has so many directions. Maybe it's a little too all over the place to rank higher but "Grace of God" and "Cirrhosis of the Heart" are such weird, yet perfect songs to be on an industrial album. I really dislike that opener, sadly.

Hole

Takes everything fun about Deaf and Ache and finds a more professional sound for it. "Water Torture", "Sick Man", and "Street of Shame" are all huge jams.

Nail

This album feels like an actual statement and labor of love. "Descent into the Inferno" feels like Foetus' signature song and "Enter the Exterminator" captures Foetus' edgy creepy tendency better than basically any other song in the catalog. It's surprisingly cohesive given how chaotic the albums surrounding it are.
