hip-hop to listen to
A while ago I made a hip-hop list that was a mix of my favorite hip-hop albums, some more hip-hop albums I like, and then some I've been meaning to listen to. This is that list minus the ones I've heard, plus more that I haven't. Just something for me to look at whenever I'm in a hip-hop/rap kind of mood. One album per artist/collab - it's implied to myself to check out more from each artist if I dig their stuff and they have more. Reccs are appreciated. I dig boom-bappy lyrical/conscious stuff mostly, especially if it has a lot of variety in the music. But I can dig cloudy and trappy stuff too, as long as the rapping isn't too dumb lol. Instrumental albums/tapes are great too (could def use some reccs there), and in that case I might even prefer the cloudy/hazy sound. |
