03.09.22 | One of my favorite examples is Invisible Man by Queen. Roger Taylor yells out Freddie Mercury's name before the first verse, and then Mercury calls out the other members' names as the song goes on. Obviously intentional, but I found it pretty entertaining |

The piano plink and the laughing at the beginning was the result of Sting accidentally sitting on a piano during a vocal take and laughing about it.
Van Halen - Unchained
The "Hey man, that suit is you!" bit happened because some record exec walked into the studio during the recording. Producer Ted Templeman responds over the intercom with "c'mon Dave give me a break" thinking the take had been ruined, to which DLR replies "one break coming up!". Somehow the entire sequence made it into the song. |
