02.14.22 | eh. good thing its the Green Bay Packers and not the Green Bay Aaron Rodgers'. He'll leave or retire, and Green Bay will probably suck for a while. Having back to back hall of fame QBs was lucky and it's been good to watch. Same thing happened with my Spurs. I'm glad Stafford won and the dude deserves all his success for sticking with the Lions that long. |

02.14.22 | I am L I T right now dhsjsjsks I've been a huge Stafford fan since watching him as a kid when he tore it up at Georgia and then the dude suffered thru so many brutal seasons and injuries staying loyal to my team for so long. Over the moon that he got this!! |

02.14.22 | Oh yeah, Green Bay will recover, and I doubt Rodgers goes anywhere. Just a little light hearted banter.
Lions currently living vicariously through this win for sure. |

02.14.22 | As a Packers fan, I’m happy Stafford has finally been able to collect a Lombardi trophy to add to his career accomplishments. Dude’s been easy to peg as a solid QB who’s had to suffer behind subpar teams, now he’s in a good place and he repaid the team in kind. We’ll make it back soon enough, as soon as we figure out how to field a team that’s competent in all phases and not just 2 out of 3. |

02.14.22 | yay stafford and fucc the bungles. |

02.14.22 | funny actually that the last two super bowl winning QBs were with brand new teams |

02.14.22 | Happy for Stafford and Aaron Donald that they finally get rings. Rams will have to pay the price for going all in this hard since they have no 1st round pick till like 2025 but hey, it worked out. |

02.14.22 | Rams got what they wanted. Their team is not built for the future and they knew it, it was a SB-or-bust year. They'll be happy with this result. |

02.14.22 | I’m a Packers fan and this made me laugh. Happy for Stafford.
Poor Joe Burrow. He was nominated for Winter King and had to miss is last HS Winter Festival to go to the Super Bowl. You’ll be back, buddy...maybe even get a ring soon. |

02.14.22 | Yeah Rams could be bad for a few years and still be happy methinks. |

02.15.22 | And he played most of his career in Detroit. Lol
Love that stat |

02.15.22 | "and the dude deserves all his success for sticking with the Lions that long"
i wouldnt say it was charity, he got paid a lot to be there lol |

02.15.22 | Considering the increasing power players have via trades and free agency, Stafford absolutely could've left Detroit. Plenty of coaches and players respected him, as evidenced by the Rams giving quite a lot to acquire him. He definitely would have had a lucrative market for him.
Guy is talented, he was just never shown off because he was on a historically middling at best franchise with little media attention.
Rodgers himself has sung Stafford's praises often. |

02.15.22 | And cap hell is coming for them too. The offseason from hell awaits them. |

02.15.22 | Yesterday felt really weird in that it was very apparent we were not watching this year's two best teams... like at all lmao. Sloppy play and head scratchers from both coaches... can't complain too much about a SB that went down to the wire though lol
Also that's two years in a row now that a veteran QB has moved teams and got a ring in their first season. I think teams trading a kings ransom for veteran QB upgrades is gonna become more common going forward. Derek Carr. Russell Wilson. Aaron Rodgers. I could easily see any one of those guys playing for a new team next year.
The Rams went all in NBA-style and pulled it off. Surely were gonna see a couple more teams try it and fail miserably over the next couple years. |

02.15.22 | true, but it beats having one team sneak in from a conference while the other is dominant. just the nature of a best of 1 playoffs. it was a very entertaining superbowl imo even with that awful officiating |
Purpl3Spartan
02.15.22 | Doesnt look like any of those three quarterbacks will be moving but we’ll see. Reports say that raiders are ready to extend Derek. We shall see about Wilson and Rodgers |
MarsKid
02.15.22 | I highly doubt Rodgers will be going anywhere. There are VERY few teams that have the cap space available to make that room without potentially damaging the roster. He'd want to compete immediately and avoid a rebuild, which makes Denver probably the only likely destination. I wouldn't be surprised if he rode it out in Wisconsin. |
