Trifolium 12.25.20	Mine is lovely so far! Very loosely based around weird drummy stuff, really like the production, feels like you could spend ages with this and still discover new things with each listening session. Pangea has this 5.0d so it could be him, but I think many of the Santas would really enjoy this so it could be anyone.

Trifolium 12.25.20	Haha Dewi! Perhaps you're double bluffing here... 🕵️‍♂️ I liked my secret-santa rec, and I think it really might have been Pangea. I think you would both like this record and I could easily see the vocalist appeal to you as far as I know your tastes. The first track especially was nice, sometimes the rest of the album veered a little too much into meandering stuff and they kind of lost me with some vocal choices. But overall it was a nice record, and I think spending more time with it would allow it to grow, I think this has the potential to greatly benefit from that. L O V E D this idea Ars, can't wait for next year's edition (if that is a thing that is going to happen! I hope it will 🤞)

JohnnyoftheWell 12.26.20	My rec (Lynx - Lynx) is vintage math rock from way back in 2000 yes 2000 back when math rock was clangy and gritty and not that existence and not stuffed of a quadrillion forgettable melodies like Covet or whatever, aaaaand I am really confused how this is apparently my ballpark, but thank you!!! Album is cool and apparently a hidden gem; lovely simple polishproof tones. Glad to randomly explore that era of the genre a bit more (don't know much from it outside of Don Cab) :]

LeddSledd 12.29.20	really sweet rec from my Santa! very chamber-influenced along the likes of Gentle Giant, lacking in earworms and often very free-form. vocals aren't incredible but the varied instrumentation and delightful keyboard tones certainly scratch that proggy itch of mine. great stuff my Santa guess: man I don't know, maybe YoYoMancuso?
