The Used Ranked
Probably some unpopular opinions on here, but isn't that the whole point? |
8 | | The Used Imaginary Enemy
They tried so hard to leave a meaningful message, but my god this album is so all over the place and doesn't even seem to know who it's pandering to.
1.5/5
Best Song: Cry |
7 | | The Used Heartwork
Has some truly great songs, but also some abysmal ones. They're at their best when they know what they're good at, and poppy/upbeat songs are NOT what they're good at.
2/5
Best Song: Paradise Lost, a Poem by John Milton |
6 | | The Used In Love and Death
I loved this way more back when I l first heard it, but it hasn't aged particularly well compared to their other work.
3/5
Best Song: I'm a Fake |
5 | | The Used Vulnerable
It's a solid rock album, but it doesn't really contribute anything special or unique to their discography.
3.5/5
Best Song: Put Me Out |
4 | | The Used Lies for the Liars
This was HUGE while I was younger, so I'm sure there's some bias here. So many of these tracks are simply too good to ignore.
3.5/5
Best Song: Paralyzed |
3 | | The Used Artwork
Like Vulnerable, but even more consistent.
4/5
Best Song: Empty With You |
2 | | The Used The Used
Hey now, I warned you there would be some unpopular opinions. This is easily one of the best post-hardcore/emo debuts of its era though.
4/5
Best Song: Poetic Tragedy |
1 | | The Used The Canyon
If you can get past the production of this record, then there's truly something special here. It's epic, ambitious, and easily their most heartfelt work to date. You can feel the pain in Bert's voice in so many of these tracks, and the songwriting is at its absolute best and most consistent. This was one of my biggest surprises of the last few years.
4.5/5
Best Song: Funeral Post |
