Song 6: Rock
Song 7: Hip Hop
Song 8: Country

Song 11: Blues

All 11 songs iwll be averaged for your final score.

And now for some honorable mentions:
2The Clifford Gilberto Rhythm Combination
I Was Young and I Needed The Money

I listened to this album and the EP Deliver the Weird because "Soulbath" was so good.

Overall the LP was a 3.5/5 and the EP was a 3/5 but both had songs I love now, so thanks budgie.
3Thundercat
Drunk

An album that's half cringe half classic. Thanks Minushuman24 and bgillesp, rightu p my alley... and by that I mean it's a 3.5/5 too, but still.
4Robovine
Get Dusted!

Holy fuck is "How to Start a Business" an amazing song. Their album Get Dusted is really good too (solid 4.5/5.) Thanks GhandhiLion for showing me it!
5Jim Sullivan
U.F.O.

I still have yet to check this entire album, but Rosey has made me curious, so I'll try to get around to it. Thanks Sinternet.
6Smoke City
Flying Away

Next time I'm in the mood to check a trip hop album I haven't heard, I'm sure this will be it. "Underwater Love" is awesome. Thanks Minushuman24. :P
7Chrome
Half Machine Lip Moves

Nero knows the kind of rock I like... I need to check this soon. “Zombie Warfare (Can't Let You Down)” was so damn good.
8Nina Nastasia
The Blackened Air

I mean I was gonna check this ayway since I already like Run to Ruin, but “Ugly Face” has sped up that decision.
9Nurse With Wound
Yagga Blues

What the hell is "Yagga Blues" right? It's good though. Thanks again Minushuman.

And now for what you guys are waiting for:
10Taj Mahal
Señor Blues

Lord(e)Po)))ts
“Queen Bee”

Pleasant guitar so far. It has a certain jovial quality to it. This sounds familiar, but I can’t quite place it. Maybe I’ve heard it sampled somewhere? The sax is great, the vocals are great and the piano is super playful. Oh damn, everything about this works and it’s super catchy.

4.5/5 (Round winner, and finalist!)
11Idrissa Soumaoro
Köte

Minushuman24
“N'Taki”

Folky guitar and harmonica together give it a mystic vibe. This mostly feels like a jam, which is nice, but I can’t say I prefer the direction this went in.I have to nitpick something, but other than the nitpick, this is quite good.

3.9/5 (Finalist!)
12John Mayall
Blues Breakers with Eric Clapton

garas
“All Your Love”

This is 60s blues rock alright. See this is good in a classic sense, but it just doesn’t stand out because a million bands have done it better. Eric Clapton himself has probably done this sound better as well. Good guitar solo, but I don’t think I’d be missing much if I never heard this song again, even though it’s enjoyable.

3.5/5 (ELIMINATED!)
13Johnny Winter
Johnny Winter

Zig
“Leland Mississippi Blues”
Raw, shitty production, but it’s working so far. Those vocals sure are mumbly. Simple, but dirty. Not bad, but not the best I’ve heard this round.

3.7/5 (Finalist!)
14Radio Moscow
Brain Cycles

budgie
“250 miles”

This sounds like it’s from the 60s, but it’s from 2009, okay. Wait a heavish pickup that’s acid rocky. Damn is this like trying to be Jimi Hendrix or Cream or something? Mostly just jamming meh. I feel like my dad would appreciate this more than I would.

3.4/5 (ELIMINATED!!)
