DoofDoof 04.04.20	RYM community is a bit boring and too big I guess - the Glastonbury of music sites AOTY's community is growing on me lol, starting to appreciate my pithy diatribes in diametric contrast to this site's changing opinion of me :D I definitely post the most 'content' on AOTY - it's got the friendliest/most attractive site design and people aren't too sniffy there, sort of 'enthusiastic' vibe. Honestly like the place now. my first love will always be sput...even if it's definitely a two-way abusive relationship the order of upset if my profiles were wiped would go: 1st: RYM 2nd: AOTY 3rd: Sput So I sort of have nothing to lose here, I am non-fussed about the profile in so much as the main thing is I am able to post and be recognised. Not majorly bothered about rating stuff here (though I do).
Demon of the Fall 04.04.20	RYM sucks as a community, I just use it to check lists and ting. This place is old and decrepit, but I keep coming back. It has soul.
dedex 04.04.20	I also got a profile there but I don't really use it. As MrSir said, I only use it for new music. And the more accurate tags, too. I prefer Sput's community and interactivity.
DoofDoof 04.04.20	AOTY takes about 10 seconds to load an album up with artwork- also a huge bonus The opening page on the site is also a really handy way of checking what's been released on a Friday - get some really obscure stuff uploaded

Brabiz 04.04.20	I use Letterboxd for movies, great community over there. I personally hate RYM’s interface, can’t use it. Sputnik is far more pleasant to me, despite having less releases catalogued.
DoofDoof 04.04.20	AOTY is a bit patchy for old releases but for new stuff I'd say it's more complete than RYM and way more complete than Sput to be fair they do promote the concept of the site being mainly about the current year/search for the AOTY of the current year
