This year has still had a steady stream of great releases, and is boasting even more to come (some still aren't even announced yet!). This year really doubled down on ports, which is awesome for people who didn't own the abysmal Wii U, and indies blew up this year too.
Not to mention, Mario Tennis Aces is one of the best selling games on the console and it's only been out for like a month, it's outselling big titles from last year already, surprisingly.
The no games argument just holds no water. All it means is, "there are no games I'm interested in", which is fair enough, you don't need to own a Switch, but the console is KILLING it and my Switch library is already bigger than my PS4's (and that's only physical copies, if I counted digital, it would double). |

08.09.18 | I just bought the Metroid 2 remake the other day and am gonna start playing it soon, but from what I've seen it does look like it will be a letdown.
My biggest wish for the Switch is to bring all the original 2D Metroid games to its digital store (or even better, a physical collection). It's impossible to get Metroid Zero Mission and Fusion these days without emulators, and I would kill to be able to play them on my Switch alone with Metroid 2 and Super Metroid. |

The dark and moody vibe is almost totally gone. I also think the 2.5D visual style really takes away from the series’ aesthetic and makes it look very generic compared to the previous 2D titles. |
