1Massive Attack
Blue Lines

Sometimes you'll find little jems at thrift shops and goodwills, and this was one of them. Very good $1.99 purchase on my part.
2Local H
Here Comes the Zoo

Another goodwill find (expect that a lot in this list). Cool thing is this copy is a first press edition, as the first thousand or so copies had a lenticular cover.
3Swans
Children of God

From the first time I visited Amoeba Music. I didnt get this but rather the Children of God/Word of Skin double disc comp.
4Taproot
Welcome

From the first time I visited Amoeba Music [2] I got really into this album around this time so I picked it up, even wrote a review for it back when I bothered

8Silverchair
Frogstomp

My memories regarding when I got the next few CDs on this list is a little hazy and most likely out of order. Anyways, found the sputmeme album used for a dollar. Has a hole punched through the back tray lol
9Silverchair
Freak Show

When my mom saw me get this she laughed and said this band had like 2 good songs. I also remember she saw a Pearl Jam CD and said that they sucked, like mom like son
10Savage Garden
Savage Garden

I remember watching JoJo part 4 and hearing the "chica cherry cola(TM)" song in the credits. Also that same song plays all the time on the radio where I work.
11Metallica
Metallica

By this point in time I kinda started getting discs less and less and instead invested money into records. Of course since 16 year old me was a retard some early ones I got are most likely fucked from using an ion usb turntable. That's a list for another day, though.
12Sneaker Pimps
Becoming X

yet another used disc, blah
13Leonard Cohen
Songs of Love and Hate

Gift from my Grandmother
14Megadeth
Dystopia

Another gift from my Grandmother. This was the Target CD edition, which came with a coupon for a free LP copy of the album, so that was pretty cool too.
15Radiohead
A Moon Shaped Pool
16Deftones
Gore
17Black Sabbath
Black Sabbath
18Unsane
Unsane

So a while back a nice little record store started up in my town and I started going to it sorta regularly late last year. They had this CD used for like only $5 but it was missing the back cover. Still a really dope ass find, especially since yesterday when I went to Amoeba again they had this for $25 lol
19No Escape
Just Accept It

Used Amazon find for $1. Cool band btw but it started skipping after like 2 or 3 full playthroughs in my car. Did ripped the music beforehand though so it's ok.
20Glassjaw
Material Control

19th birthday present, somewhat surprised to see this in best buy
21KMFDM
Don't Blow Your Top

Local record store find, its ok
22Static-X

The Beginning

Was going through a mini-jandek obsession (again) when I got this. The mailer had a butterfly stamp on it c:
36Husker Du
Zen Arcade
37Fugazi
Repeater

Side note my dad has a vendetta against straight edge kids because he would always get into arguments with them at shows, so now he has a thing against Ian Mackaye lol
38Steel Pole Bath Tub
Tulip

So the other day I went down to LA with my dad to do shit, and we stopped by Amoeba.
39Acid Bath
When the Kite String Pops

Also from that night. This is some real deal shit, guys, should of hopped on it sooner.
40Training for Utopia
Plastic Soul Impalement

Same night, played it in the car on the way home. Im assuming it would of made for a good soundtrack for how my dad felt about me speeding down a crowded freeway late at night. Also lets bring -core sputnik back and get this thing a 4.4 average.
