Best renditions of classical pieces

It's easy to search up on Apple Music or YouTube the name of a classical piece and just listen to the first result without much thought. Not that that's a bad thing, but sometimes we forget that there are many, many interpretations of a classical piece (those classic compositions like Requiem, Nocturne, and even Carmina Burana, for instance, I mean) because there is literally no recording of performances conducted by the original composer, thus, there too is literally no definitive version of a piece. Only the conductor's interpretation and how much the audience can relate to it, as well as the overall performance of the orchestra (and choir, when applicable). What are your favorite performances of those classical pieces? Sometimes the recording/production isn't always great despite an amazing performance as well (case in point, the rendition of Carmina Burana conducted by Ormandy on Apple Music; there's a much better quality version of it on YouTube) so be feel free to include a video or something of it. I'll use this as an index for not only me but other users who also want to dip their toes into classical. My knowledge is still rather limited too, hence only having 2 albums on this list so far
1Carl Orff
Carmina Burana

I'm still exploring the different renditions of this piece but, so far, my favorite versions are these:

Eugene Ormandy, Philadelphia Orchestra: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fENYgZV1Ksw&feature=share

Marin Alsop, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and Chorus: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r22KbN6Q16c&feature=share
2Ludwig van Beethoven
Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Op. 125

Favorite is Leonard Bernstein conducting the Vienna Philharmonic and State Opera House in Vienna: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3MnGfhJCK_g&feature=share

Honorable mentions:

Leonard Bernstein conducting for the celebration of the Berlin Wall being torn down: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IInG5nY_wrU&feature=share

Herbert von Karajan's 1963 performance almost comes close to being my favorite this is still an incredible listen nonetheless: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfrAXZC7GKA&feature=share
3Wendy Carlos
Walter Carlos' Clockwork Orange

I'll add this here for shits and giggles. This version of the soundtrack (now named to Wendy Carlos' rather than Walter due to the sex change long ago) uses all of the moog synthesizer reworking of all of classical pieces that are used in the film. It's quite hard to find it so just message me if you're interested in a listen (not sure if this is on Soulseek tho)
