you become so used to being sad that it's not that bad and than you stop facing new challanges in life.
currently i am at the hardest stage of my life, but because i am always trying to both improve my life style(sleeping enough, making sure everything is organized and i'm even trying to completely change my eating habits) and improve my personal skills (social, guitar etc etc) i am happy.
it's all about your mind set and what you decide you want to be like. |

06.12.16 | It's funny how I succumbed to depression when I was at the peak of my life (ostensibly) and had everything running smoothly in my life whereas now when I've actually hit some rough times (recently unemployed, my girl left me, dog put down, 2 good mates moved away permanently, broken wrist and torn knee all within the last month too) I somehow feel more optimistic than ever really.
Possibly because there wouldn't be much guilt attached to the depression now as there was when I experienced it before which of course amplifies it as we've established.
Depression is a damn strange beast though that's for sure. |
