| Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses Tonight
Ready to rock out to my childhood. List is series loosely ranked, but I love them all so much it's hard to choose favorites. | 1 | | Thrice The Alchemy Index Vol. III: Air
The Wind Waker (favorite game of all time) | 2 | | Camel Moonmadness
Majora's Mask (them side-quests plus Zora guitar) | 3 | | Black Sabbath Heaven and Hell
A Link Between Worlds (seriously, best top-down Zelda in the series) | 4 | | Dream Theater A Change of Seasons
Oracle of Seasons (more of a personal favorite, spent loads of time on this one as a kid) | 5 | | Ulver Nattens Madrigal
Twilight Princess (10-year old me was a little too excited to get this plus a Wii for Christmas) | 6 | | Pity Sex Dark World
Link to the Past (originally played the GBA version, but have since gotten a SNES plus the original game off of Amazon) | 7 | | Rush Clockwork Angels
Ocarina of Time (would probably be higher if it was my first 3D Zelda, but Wind Waker took that spot; firm believer that your first Zelda is your favorite) | 8 | | Daughter Not to Disappear
Minish Cap (super underrated, such a fun world to explore, lots of cool size-based puzzles, and more Pieces of Heart than you can shake a Deku Stick at) | 9 | | Weakling Dead as Dreams
Link's Awakening (finally got to play this with the 3DS Virtual Console, very well crafted and amazing final boss) | 10 | | Mastodon Crack the Skye
Skyward Sword (definitely the weakest of the 3D games, not nearly enough exploration; dungeons and bosses were very on point though, and I actually really enjoyed the control scheme) | 11 | | Narc Twain Narc Twain
Phantom Hourglass (think I beat this twice in the first three weeks it was out, no real desire to come back to it now) | 12 | | 4 Non Blondes Bigger, Better, Faster, More
Spirit Tracks (don't think I ever beat this one, good expansion on what PH did) | 13 | | Haken The Mountain
The Legend of Zelda (it's a classic, it's fun, it's memorable, but the series has always topped itself since the original formula) | |

04.08.16 | Excluded the games I never owned (Oracle of Ages), didn't get far enough in to have an opinion (Adventure of Link), and the Four Swords games since I never played the multiplayer components. | JigglyPDiddy
04.08.16 | Majora's Mask is one of my top five favorite games of all time. The franchise is arguably the most important one in gaming history, in my opinion. Only few other franchises, imo, have as much quality as this one (Fallout, Megaten, Metal Gear, Half-Life, etc.) | elcrawfodor
04.08.16 | OK my album cover of 12 has a giant cartoon train, I swear it was relevant.
@Jiggly Majora is the best made game in the series, but Wind Waker awakened my love of adventure games and floors me with nostalgia every time. | insanedrexl1
04.08.16 | Zelda has some of the best music in any video game series. | JigglyPDiddy
04.08.16 | Wind Waker's very amazing, as well! And it was my favorite for a long time.
The music of the Zelda universe is fucking sublime. | Gmork89
04.08.16 | Hell yeah the Oracle games are awesome. probably in my top 3. They don't get enough love. | elcrawfodor
04.08.16 | Agreed, Capcom made some of the best games in the series! Maybe I'll finally get around to Oracle of Ages this summer. | JigglyPDiddy
04.08.16 | Ahhhh, both Oracles are amazing games. My favorite top-down Zelda has to be Link's Awakening, though. Too many nostalgic memories with that gameboy cartridge. | Mystletainn
04.08.16 | Wind waker and twilight princess are trash
Best games are ocarina of time, majoras mask and links Awakening | Gyromania
04.08.16 | ocarina is so god damn overrated. too many gamers looking at it with nostalgia glasses. wind waker, majora's mask, and link to the past are my faves | Atari
04.08.16 | lol @ the wind waker being trash
honestly twilight princess is better than it's made out to be as well. enjoying it more than ever this time around on the HD version | Gyromania
04.08.16 | twilight princess was an instant classic, for me. prob my 4th favorite overall.
i know it's somewhat divisive because of its cell shading, but i think wind waker is a masterpiece and probably the best game overall. it truly feels like an epic adventure. it's so wholesome | Mystletainn
04.08.16 | It's not bad because the art style it's bad because it's a bad game. | Gyromania
04.08.16 | what is bad about it? | emester
04.08.16 | Awesome to see another guy with WW as their fav Zelda. That game is the pure essence of adventure.
My ranking is this
Wind Waker
Majora
LBW
OoT
LttP
Twilight Princess
Links Awakening
Oracle Games
Spirit Tracks
Minish Cap
Skyward Sword
Phantom Hourglass
Only Zelda games I would consider not all that great are the last two on my ranking, certain gimmicks of the gameplay itself at detrimental to the game (Temple of the Ocean, touch controls finicky; Motion control and spoon-fed information and crazy hand holding) | emester
04.08.16 | Also i don't know about you guys but for the Wii U/ NX title I'm getting a feeling of a Shadow of the Colossus esque overworld exploration from whats been shown | Mystletainn
04.08.16 | What I don't like about it is that it's overall extremely easy, I find no challenge in it. The puzzles in the dungeons are probably the easiest in any zelda game, I also just don't have any fun going through them. I find the sailing annoying and boring. I think the triforce hunt at the end is extremely tedious, having to grind for all those rupees can drive a person into insanity.
Forsaken fortress is also tedious to get through and you need to go through it twice. That's all I can think of for right now, I enjoyed the game when it first came out but when I played it like a year ago I hated it.
I mean it's not the worst game in the world but I never want to touch the thing again. | elcrawfodor
04.11.16 | Concert was absolutely amazing by the way, if you grew up with the series goosebumps are guaranteed. |
