TalonsOfFire 02.19.15	I've never heard 1. 2 has kind of ass production but it works for the album. 3 is far from his best, but has amazing guitar tone and awesome production. Why wouldn't you have Metallica or Sabbath's latests on a list with this title?

bloc 02.19.15	I've always had an interest in this subject. Yeah 2 is definitely loud but I think that's part of the appeal. Same with 3 but it's not the good kind of loud. You can hear the audio clipping at times. Either way, I love both albums.
Ocean of Noise 02.19.15	SFTD is horribly produced but it's not LOUD per se... if anything the sound is really muffled and quiet

VaxXi 02.19.15	Porcupine Tree's album Deadwing is another victim of this, the sound production on the thing is fucked beyond belief.
