09.17.14 | Halestorm and Dragonforce are the obvious sore thumbs here. I have a crush on Lzzy and Dragonforce...well. |
DominionMM1
09.17.14 | check out rwake. they're kinda like mastodon except they're really good. |
pedro70512
09.17.14 | thanks. sludge/psychadelic tags sound more like Kylesa or Intronaut, which is still sweet. |
pedro70512
09.17.14 | I'm your dude? aw, thanks. |
Artuma

09.30.14 | Burst [2]
As much as I jammed Conquest:Writhe back in the day I highly recommend starting with Prey on Life and listening through Lazarus Bird. Such an amazing, underrated band. RIP |

09.30.14 | So that's you in your pic ? |
pedro70512
09.30.14 | @punched - I have, but still haven't wrapped by head around it.
@tyler - yeah, on the left. David Davidson of Revocation's on the right. |
MuhNamesTyler
09.30.14 | yeah that's why I was asking, Revocation are sweet. David seems like a pretty down to earth dude |
pedro70512
09.30.14 | yeah he's totally down to earth. that was after their show at Great Scott, Boston. he let my girlfriend play his guitar after the show and just chilled and had a beer with us and some other fans. that's how you keep people coming back.

09.30.14 | Damn that's pretty tight |
pedro70512
09.30.14 | popularity is a fickle thing. I like where bands like Ulcerate, Intronaut, and Revocation are at, how they do enough tours to get around to most fans but still play venues without security guards and expensive tickets. at the same time, it's nice to list off your favorite bands and have people actually recognize the name (Mastodon, Opeth, etc). |
pedro70512
09.30.14 | thanks. it got hard to choose the right dicks towards the end because the criteria became hard to differentiate (I love one album, I like two or three albums, they were great live but I haven't looked through their discog yet...) |
MotoMusic
02.07.15 | No Neurosis, but you have Mastodon Agalloch and Light Bearer? |

03.01.15 | 27 is my current favorite live album. |

70's prog rock, early 80's AOR, 90's Hip Hop, Glam, Thrash, Punk, Doo-Wop. So much cool stuff to jam out there.... |
BlackLlama
03.01.15 | I digress as well, I enjoy a ton on this list also. 7, 8 and 46 are all aces in my book. |
pedro70512
03.01.15 | Yes - Relayer, REM - Monster, NWA - Straight Outta Compton, Cinderella - Long Cold Winter, Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss, Good Riddance - Moderne Rebellion, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes - Wake Up Everybody
