The Blood Brothers Ranked

I'm bored, so I'm gonna rank all five of The Blood Brothers releases. Full-lengths only, so Rumors won't be on this list.
5The Blood Brothers
This Adultery is Ripe

The band's weakest full-length, and most post-hardcore. While it does contain some very interesting and quality tracks, most of the album is forgettable. The bass on here is super fun to play, though. (Best Tracks: Doctor! Doctor!, Mutiny on the Ark of the Blood Brothers, This Adultery is Ripe)
4The Blood Brothers
Young Machetes

Their last release before breaking up, featuring tones of Art rock and even Glam rock to an extent. The record also acts as a "back-to-the-roots"-type album for the band, but most of the post-hardcore songs are just bland and uninteresting. However, the record does include some real gems hidden beneath the surface. Such as the epic half-punk, half-piano ballad "Camouflage, Camouflage". (Best Tracks: "Camouflage, Camouflage", "You're The Dream Unicorn", "Spit Shine Your Black Clouds")
3The Blood Brothers
March On Electric Children

Their industrial second record, which also acts as a concept album detailing stories about consumerism and artificial beauty. It is one of their most noisiest and upsetting records, containg some very disturbing lyrical imagery (re:"New York Slave"). However, some of the more uninteresting tracks at the beggining lower the rating a bit. (Best Tracks: "Kiss of the Octopus", "Siamese Gun", "American Vultures")
2The Blood Brothers
Crimes

This album incorperates Indie rock and even pop to their sound, making it a very memorable listen. The often politically charged lyrics gives you something to pay really attention to, and vocalists Johnny Whitey and Jordan Billie are at their very best on this record. (Best Tracks: "Love Rhymes with Hideous Car Wrecks", "Peacock Skeleton with Crooked Feathers", "Live at the Apocalypse Cabaret")
1The Blood Brothers
...Burn, Piano Island, Burn

This is THE Blood Brothers LP to listen to. This is also their most Math rock oriented LP. This album includes some of their best ideas, and also utilizes the two vocalists effect to it's full potential, with tracks were Jordan and Johnny both play roles: Johnny, playing off as an innocent victim and Jordan, showing the true colors of said "victim" (Just listen to the last minute of "USA Nails", you'll get what I mean). The instrumentation is at it's very best, with buzzing, thick bass, crazy guitar, and some of the most energetic drumming you'll ever hear on record. (Best Tracks: "Ambulance vs. Ambulance", "The Salesman, Denver Max", "God Bless You, Blood Thirsty Zepplins")
