| Stevie Wonder's 70s Album Ranked
Stevie's 60s albums and Sign Sealed Delivered barely had any songs rStevie wrote himself so rforget them...rI haven't heard his 80s albums...rHere's his golden 70s period ranked :) | 7 | | Stevie Wonder Journey Through The Secret Life Of Plants
I mean its still good if you've a HUGE fan, but there are way too many fillers and
they fail to compare to the previous 6.
Highlights: "Power Flower", "Outside My Window" | 6 | | Stevie Wonder Music of My Mind
This album comes off as pretty strained for Stevie. Don't even get me started on the
creepy as hell "Sweet Little Girl." It still has enough great tracks though.
Highlights: "Love Having You Around", "Girl Blue" | 5 | | Stevie Wonder Where I'm Coming From
This album is great. It's the first album where Stevie really shows his potential. It's
biggest downfall is that it has this weird dated feel to it. Still almost every song on it
is gold.
Highlights: "Look Around", "Do Yourself a Favor", "I Wanna Talk to You" | 4 | | Stevie Wonder Talking Book
Sure the album is magnificent, but it does have a couple of forgettable tracks that
bring it down a bit. Since "Superstition" isn't even the best song on here, you know
it's a great album.
Highlights: "You Are the Sunshine of My Life", "Maybe Your Baby", "Big Brother",
"Blame it on the Sun" | 3 | | Stevie Wonder Songs in the Key of Life
This album only at 3? IT'S REALLY FANTASTIC! But it does have a couple of lesser
songs. I think it deserves all of the acclaim it gets though. When Stevie's good, he's
amazing.
Highlights: Disc 1: "Love's in Need of Love Today", "I Wish", "Summer Soft"
"Isn't She Lovely", "As" | 2 | | Stevie Wonder Innervisions
This album is nearly perfect. In all seriousness this is a must listen for
everyone. I don't care if you're a metalhead or into jazz. Every track on here is
great. With this said, its still not his best. I'm an atheist and he made me like Jesus
themed songs.
Highlights: "Too High", "Living for the City", "Higher Ground", "Jesus Children of
America" | 1 | | Stevie Wonder Fulfillingness' First Finale
The reason this underrated as hell album gets #1 is because its the only Stevie
album that's a HUGE GROWER. Upon your first few listens you'll probably love it, but
prefer 2 and 3 on this list. By your 5th listen? It's clearly #1. At least that's how I
felt. It's his most diverse too. There's even an anti-Nixon song on here and the
Jackson 5.
Highlights: "Heaven Is 10 Zillion Light Years Away", "Boogie on Reggae Woman",
"Creepin'", "You Haven't Done Nothin'" | |

02.25.14 | since you put it above those 3 that i really like then i sure will | SharkTooth
02.25.14 | Planning on eventually reviewing 1
, also, you forgot to put Signed, Sealed, &Delivered(1970) | ArsMoriendi
02.25.14 | @SharkTooth: I was trying to only list albums where Stevie did the majority of the song writing. | SharkTooth
02.26.14 | If you did put it, where would you fit it in? | SharkTooth
02.26.14 | Also, great list, it must've been REALLY difficult to decide which was his best | ArsMoriendi
02.26.14 | @SharkTooth: It'd probably be between 5 and 6. I wasn't thrilled with it, but it wasn't bad. 2-5 were kind of difficult to rank, but 1 was clearly my favorite. |
