Talking Heads: Worst To Best

Highlights will be 3 max per album.
8Talking Heads
Naked

The album sounds a little strained. David Byrne's vocals sounds kind of tired and although most of the songs are good, the only
song I really can say is great is "Cool Water."
Album Highlights: "Blind", "Cool Water"
7Talking Heads
True Stories

Talking Heads decided to take their world beat music to a whole new level. Sadly, the quirkiness has faded a little. There are
plenty of classics still on there however.
Album Highlights: "Papa Legba", "City of Dreams"
6Talking Heads
Talking Heads: 77

It's amazing for a debut, but Talking Heads have so many amazing albums, this one can in no way make number 1. It's the
beginning to an amazing paranoid journey, but surely not the end.
Album Highlights: "Tentative Decisions", "No Compassion", "Pulled Up"
5Talking Heads
Little Creatures

Talking Heads decided to add more of a pop element to their work and it worked! Still paranoid in all the right ways.
Album Highlights: "Walk it Down", "Television Man", "Road to Nowhere"
4Talking Heads
Speaking in Tongues

Probably the best Talking Heads album to start someone off (it was my first.) It's a perfect mix of paranoia, funkiness, and
commercial appeal. Just what any Talking Head fan could ask for.
Album Highlights: "Making Flippy Floppy", "Slippery People", "Swamp"
3Talking Heads
More Songs About Buildings and Food

The album title describes this album perfectly: topic diversity. Songs about artists, weird jobs, love, buildings, and food. What
else is there to say?
Album Highlights: "The Good Thing", "The Girls Want to Be with the Girls", "Found a Job"
2Talking Heads
Remain in Light

Their most influential album. It's amazing and would make #1 on ever list based on their public reception. It's a dancy
paranoid journey so many amazing tracks its hard to pick highlights.
Album Highlights: "Crosseyed and Painless", "Houses in Motion", "Listening Wind"
1Talking Heads
Fear of Music

It may not explore as many places as Remain in Light, but to me its their catchiest. Hopefully you know this is an opinion list.
Whether the songs are jibberish, about war, heaven, or simply picking the city you live in, this album has all that I'd ever ask
from a Talking Heads album.
Album Highlights: "I Zimbra", "Cities", "Animals"
