Visage was a new romantic/darkwave band from England that was formed in 1978 by Steve Strange (former member of the punk
band Moors Murderers) and Rusty Egan (previously the drummer for The Rich Kids). Having some moderate success in the UK
and Europe throughout the early 1980's, they originally disbanded in 1985. In 2004, after nearly twenty years apart, Visage
surprisingly announced their reunion, and in 2013, released "Hearts and Knives", which was their first original album release since
"Beat Boy" in 1984. Visage would go on to tour and record new material up until the sudden death of Strange in 2015 from a
heart attack. He was only 55 years old. His untimely death ultimately symbolized the official end of Visage, and the group
decided to disband shortly afterwards.
