Tanya Donelly is a well known musician, born and raised in Newport, Rhode Island. She is particularly known for being a member of the alternative rock band Throwing Muses, as well as forming the band Belly, who had impressive success throughout 1993 and 1994. Since 1997, Donelly has also had a sporadic solo career, with her latest solo album being This Hungry Life (2006).
