Dead or Alive was a British new wave band that were perhaps best known for their 1984 hit single, "You Spin Me Round (Like aRecord)". In 2012, after nearly 30 years together as a band, Dead or Alive finally announced their disbandment. In early 2016, itwas reported that guitarist Steve Coy hinted at the group releasing more material, although later that year, frontman PeteBurns passed away at the age of 57 from cardiac arrest, thus closing any possibility of Dead or Alive reuniting.
