Kulash and Nordwind met at summer camp at the ages of 11. Together they formed a band, The Greased Ferrets. They metAndy in High School,
andthen Dan in college. The Chicago-based quartet thus formed in the Fall of 1998. After releasing severalIndependent singles they were signed
byCapitol in late 2001. Their self-titled debut was released in September 2002, whichfeatured their first hit "Get Over It". Their second album
wasreleased in 2005, which featured the song "A Million Ways" and it'ssubsequent video became the most downloaded video ever with more
than 3 milliondownloads.
