The Acacia Strain is a four-piece metalcore band based out of Chicopee, Massachusetts, USA. They are currently signed to Rise Records. The band as awhole has been together since 2001 but has undergone many member changes. They are known for their heavy downtuned guitars, irregular breakdowns, and groove patterns.
