Glis (reportedly named after the 'glissando' musical note) was an electronica group from Seattle, Washington. Formed in 2000 by
Shaun Frandsen and Andrea Ashdown, the duo released four albums before the sudden death of Ashdown in 2008 from unknown
causes. This put Glis on a slight hiatus, although Frandsen resurrected the project in 2012 with the release of the single
"Apocalypse Parties", before releasing "Phoenix" in 2013, which was the first original Glis album release since 2005. Although the
album was a success, Frandsen then ended up officially ending the Glis project in 2014, after over a decade of activity.
