FripSide are an electropop duo that formed in 2002. The group's original vocalist, Nao, left the band due to primarily musicaldisagreements with
producer, Satoshi Yaginuma. After her departure, anime voice actress, Yoshino Nanjou, took over thevocals. Notable in their sound is the use of
impressive melodic guitar solos and, sporadically, riffing.
