| ...I Care Because You Do is a good example of an inconsistent album. Whenever I put "Wet Tip Hen Ax" on I'm immediately taken away into a perfect gloomy atmosphere, only to be let down 15 seconds later by a terrible glitchy sound that goes on for the rest of the track. This appears to be the problem with much of the album; several of its tracks have tons of potential but are almost ruined by irritating sounds that make the album seem dated as a whole. Massive shame, since the album also consists some of the best electronic music I've ever heard, in particular the absolutely sublime "Alberto Balsalm". |
