They are one of the great forgotten funk/soul bands of the seventies, and put out only three full-length studio albums (to my knowledge) before disbanding. This two-disc set contains all three of those albums, as well as a few unreleased tracks. Disc 1 is more enjoyable for me than the Disc 2. This disc features their greatest tracks: "Dove", "Bra", "The Message", and "Crawshay". But the real winner of this entire 32-song set is track 1 of Disc 2, "Bird". This one simply soars. But it's an uneven album as a whole, and it's apparent by the end of the second disc that the band's nine members were itching to go their separate ways.Al Green Lay It Down3.5Wu-Tang Clan Iron Flag2.5Stars of the Lid The Tired Sounds of Stars of the Lid4.0Raphael Saadiq The Way I See It3.0Sigur Ros Agætis byrjun4.0Sigur Ros ( )3.5Sigur Ros Takk...4.0Madvillain Madvillainy4.5Broken Social Scene You Forgot It in People4.0Radiohead OK Computer4.5Radiohead Kid A5.0Radiohead Amnesiac4.0Radiohead In Rainbows4.0Flying Lotus Los Angeles4.0The Shins Wincing the Night Away3.0The Shins Chutes Too Narrow4.0The Shins Oh, Inverted World4.5Arcade Fire Funeral4.5Curtis Mayfield Curtis4.0Prefuse 73 One Word Extinguisher4.5RJD2 Deadringer4.0Led Zeppelin Houses of the Holy4.5Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin II4.5Otis Redding Otis Blue: Otis Redding Sings Soul4.5Boards of Canada The Campfire Headphase4.0Boards of Canada Music Has the Right to Children4.5The Notorious B.I.G.
