to keep up. The production is weak, and the riffs are bland, and the singer is painfully
monotonous, and due to all this, the 5-6 minute long songs are merely drag-ons that
seemingly never end.

I feel so rocked trying to determine what exactly this album deserves. Like a lot of today's acts, the pros and cons are scattered around so much, the albums disorganized resemblance becomes more of its downfall than the overall composure of it. I can easily say thought that this album has come out on top more than its predecessors, and that is definitely saying a lot.

As catchy as this was, and as great as this would probably be at a party, or a friendly get-together with some of the lesser developed musical fans, when I look at it personally, it's still just Skrillex combining 50 sounds that on their own, might sound pretty decent, but when thrown together in this small EP, it truly does sound like a disorganized starwars space battle. There is pretty much nothing coherent to find here, as usual with Skrillex productions.

Is this the part where i'm supposed negatively to respond to nearly the entire community around me that says this album rules? Pfft, whatever. I wouldn't be caught dead listening to this album on my own, but for parties as mere background noise? Well, I could tolerate that, because it is just meant to be fun. It's just dreadfully retarded in the act.

I gotta say, this combobulation of old school thrash and technical influences is creating one of the more unusual listens i've partaken in the broad field of thrash. While it makes its mark appropriately in some areas, there are quite a few where this album just makes little to no sense, in the sense of course that that's what Havok was going for. I'll stand alone on this one, and go ahead and say "Burn" was the better album by this band. But even it suffers from similar problems. Just not quite as badly.

There's alot of things in this album I feel unnecessary, such as the trance-like design in a few of the songs, that in all honesty just detracts cohesivenss from the album. But it's still alright

Yet another stop in Vader's career where they can't seem to go any further than they already have. Lack of evolution has taken a while to catch up with them, but it finally has. Granted, the vocalist is trying something new here, but thus far, he's probably been the only one to remain solid and consistent in all their albums. So why he would want to change that, i'll never understand. The guitars and the drums all sound average here. Usually, there are at least a couple songs here and there to refuel the bands' excitement. But here, that is just not present.

It's easy to see how so quick to evolve Whitechapel really is. Their debut album was solid, it showed inspiration on the members' part. This album on the other hand, doesn't portray those similar traits. Rather, it shows how the bands' reluctance or their desire for a new sound right off the bat confuses them into disregarding the decision as to whether or not they could, instead whether or not they should. In the end, you get a pretty boring album with little to offer. On the other hand, the dual vocalist tihng going on in here does give back a little bit to the overall trite composure.

I heard this album is pretty strict in its composure, and doesn't go that far outside of Vader's regular formula for destruction. But I personally find it to be quite varied, and rather exciting. Now granted, it's not as great as their first two albums, or Litany, but again, it's a pretty exciting release.

This album caught me off guard to so many extents. The musicianship here portrays the continued evolution from black metal to death metal in Behemoth's character. This album falls right in the middle of that evolution, and oh boy is it a something worth seeing. The live tracks in the end are excellent and fun too. But the real prize comes when you se Behemoth putting forth some of the most intriguing riffs and musical designs ever. Probably my most favorite Behemoth album thus far.

Like a lot of demos in metal, the production is a big factor of influence to new ears. I am no exception. Many a metal demo has simply been disregarded by me purely because of just how raw the sound is. But with this band, you can see that that's what they were aiming for, and it doesn't subtract from this demo hardly at all. The songs are creepy, spine-tingling, and bone-scraping, and given the raspy scratches on the songs, you can feel the atmosphere this demo provides, and it's one of the best i've ever heard; or should I say felt?

I wish for one day I could go back in time and get a good glance at the days of tape recorders, and walkmen's, and pop that didn't reflect aroudn the most obscene/retarded bullshit. This nostalgic album deserves a lot more than it gets. ABC, Never Had A Dream Come True, and many more are just must haves. i might be a metal-head from birth to death, but even I know a good funky pop album when I hear it.
