Radiohead A Moon Shaped Pool4.5
I guess I can call this a most mature Radiohead. Such emotion runs through the entire album. I do miss the electricity of old Radiohead, but what they have matured to is what had to be expected to continue excellence into their 40-50s and beyond. I have grown up with Radiohead, and I find myself listening to In Rainbow, King of Limbs, and A heart Shaped Moon when I want to enjoy blissful sound, I can't pick another band to fill this gap. The older Radiohead is memorized, it is time to memorize the newer Radiohead and to look forward to what they want to create, to not wish they recreate the past, but to continue to carve out their legacy as the greatest band of our time.

Radiohead In Rainbows4.0
1-5 star rating can not be how you judge Radiohead. As an example from The Bends through Hail, we were treated to sounds we have never heard. As we enter into In Rainbows I see a different Radiohead. Less complex, but more educated. This isn't a 5 star album, but that is because prior albums were 5 and 6 stars. I put this album up against anything any band ever produced and it stands up boldly. I just can't see how you top anything prior to In Rainbows, but I certainly am not complaining. This is a band that is so in touch with its sound, I am just happy they are producing music that is still better than anything else, even if they are a notch below the standard they set.
