Such emotion runs through the entire album. I do miss the electricity of old Radiohead, but what they have matured to is what had to be expected to continue excellence into their 40-50s and beyond. I have grown up with Radiohead, and I find myself listening to In Rainbow, King of Limbs, and A heart Shaped Moon when I want to enjoy blissful sound, I can't pick another band to fill this gap. As an example from The Bends through Hail, we were treated to sounds we have never heard. As we enter into In Rainbows I see a different Radiohead. Less complex, but more educated. This isn't a 5 star album, but that is because prior albums were 5 and 6 stars. I put this album up against anything any band ever produced and it stands up boldly. I just can't see how you top anything prior to In Rainbows, but I certainly am not complaining.
