| Love King clearly shows that The-Dream has developed alot since the release of Love/Hate. As an artist he has definitely growed, no doubt about that, but this album doesn't have the same feel as its predecessor Love Vs. Money. This album comes off alot more dark and reflective - its so much more personal, as seen with tracks like "Abyss".rOf course its not a bad thing, I find variation to be good in music.rAnyway the reason this album doesn't get a toprating (I mean seriously, The-Dream is a beast!) is mainly because of the Sex Intelligent songs. Personally I find them to be drawbacks and should be replaced with some of the fine songs that are found on the Deluxe Version.rIf however, these songs were included, this would definitely deserve a top rating. |
