You set yourself up on a pedestal up until the release date and then hope once it's there you can stay standing. Shone's heatthing is an interesting and varied album though lacks the cohesive nature that would grant it a higher rating. Many complain of the vocals as being "grating" or "too much" but for the purposes of Shone they fit right in. At times you wish they'd show constraint and be more user-friendly but as we've learned by now that's not what Shone is going for. They want to break genre tropes and create a unique soundscape which is something they are able to achieve to a degree.
