I was 13 years old and a whole new world openend up for me. This album marked the moment that I realised that I was going to buy all Bowie records ever recorded. Remarkably: I already knew several tracks from listening to the radio, just wasn't aware of the fact that they were all from the same performer. So at the age of 13 I guess I had a pretty good ear for music. And no-one had ever said to me: 'hey, listen to this album (Heroes or The Rise and Fall of (...))! So you see, a simpel record with a compilation of hits can become of great value if you are a not-aware listener.
