5.0 classic
Anberlin Cities
Black Country, New Road Ants From Up There
Lorna Shore Pain Remains
Relient K Forget and Not Slow Down
Say Anything ...Is a Real Boy
I love this album. Has only a few tracks that don't quite live up to the 5 rating, but this is one of my favorite artists and I can't think of much out there that actually deserves a "perfect" rating anyway. Definitely Bemis' opus.
Say Anything Say Anything
The closest this band ever got to ...Is a Real Boy in terms of quality and altogether replay value.

4.5 superb
Anberlin Never Take Friendship Personal
As Cities Burn Son, I Loved You at Your Darkest
My rating is admittedly biased. This album is more like a 4. But the personal effect the lyrics had on me, and the amount of times I listened to this album as an adolescent have turned this into on-demand nostalgia.
Before Their Eyes Before Their Eyes
Black Midi Cavalcade
Blindside About A Burning Fire
Demon Hunter The Triptych
fun. Aim and Ignite
fun. Some Nights
House Of Heroes The End Is Not the End
This album could have done without about 3 songs, but it was definitely their best otherwise. The music and lyrics are top notch.
House Of Heroes Suburba
This album is incredibly fun, and maintains House of Heroes' usual level of subtle depth.
Kids in the Way Apparitions of Melody
Needtobreathe The Heat
No Devotion No Oblivion
I think I like this better than any Thursday album,
and if I had to say it was about anything in
particular, it's all those wee woos and beep boops,
my friends. At times, I get similar vibes to the
more atmospheric Anberlin tracks of their last few
albums and recent EP, but this is stronger to me and
really successfully creates an enveloping effect for
the listener, while still managing to provide
memorable melodies.
Norma Jean Redeemer

Say Anything Hebrews

Taking Back Sunday Taking Back Sunday
The Classic Crime Albatross
The amount of times I listened to this album when I was younger completely blinded me to the actual deserved rating. Definitely not as musically proficient as later works, but it will definitely get stuck in your head. I think it deserves to. The lyrical talents of Matt, alone, make this album worth listening to.

Weezer SZNZ: Autumn
Been kinda hateful about Weezer the past couple
years to my friend who likes all their releases.
Happy to say, I think we'll see eye to eye on this
one. Just a constant smile on my face. I feel like
White and Everything Will Be don't even touch the
energy of this one. As far as I know, Rivers doesn't
even try to console any famous friends after they
get in trouble with the internet for doing a race
science on this one, which almost pushes it to a 5,
but Francesca still happens. They needed this win
badly. Cool to see them pull it off.

4.0 excellent
As Cities Burn Hell or High Water
Doesn't have the nostalgic effect of Son, I Loved You at Your Darkest, or really the lyrical depth of Come Now Sleep, but this is some really good music and the lyrics are by no means dull.
Blindside Silence
Blindside The Great Depression
Blindside With Shivering Hearts We Wait
Driveways Into the Past
Overall a more consistently enjoyable batch of songs than Skeptic, save for having no highlight on the level of UFO in the Sky. Sonically similar to their past efforts, with more developed songwriting chops. Some of their melodies sound somewhat similar across EPs, and variety is something they?ll have to work on if they?re to ever put out a proper full length. That said, their sound is one I like a lot, and the vocalist has a way of pulling you into feeling what he?s feeling, between his emotive style and elegantly straightforward lyricism.
Five Iron Frenzy Until This Shakes Apart
House Of Heroes Cold Hard Want
This album is very solid. It proves that House of Heroes is consistent, but for me this falls short of their two previous releases. This has some of their more catchy tunes, no doubt (see tracks 2 and 3.)
Needtobreathe The Reckoning
Say Anything In Defense of the Genre
If this was only the first disc, it would be a 4.5. If it was the first album with some of the better songs from disc 2 as bonus tracks it would be closer to a 4.6 or 4.7.
The Almost Monster, Monster
This Providence This Providence
Lyrically, and musically this album is fantastic. Has a few weak tracks (Card House Dreamer, and But What Will They Say) but the rest are great.

Say Anything Baseball
Has some really great songs (Colorblind, All My Friends, and Manhattan come to mind) but then quite a few that the album could have done without. A fun listen all around, but probably slightly below even Anarchy, My Dear.
Say Anything Anarchy, My Dear
This album manages to be disappointing but still enjoyable. Admit it Again should be forgotten, mostly due to the chorus. The fact that such a good lyricist wrote a chorus that consists of "And the crap rains down" is a pretty big let down. However there are a few tracks that that definitely deserve your attention if you're a fan of the rest of their work.
Spoken Spoken
The Classic Crime The Silver Cord
I regret not being able to enjoy this as much as other people. The lyrics are excellent, no doubt. But I also can't deny the drag. R&R shouldn't have been on the CD and somehow the track placement of that section of the CD seems pretty faulty. It is a great CD as my rating implies, but it shouldn't have been as long as it was.

This EP is really disappointing. Just jam the older stuff and don't try too hard to convince
yourself otherwise.
