What makes this compilation unique within it's sequal is the fact that it still has all the
Kompakt influences in them, but it's rather less plain in genre than the others which makes
it in my opinion the best Immer made. It starts off with Don't let stars keep us tangled up,
which is a really catchy kickoff. Then there's in my opinion a slightly less moment of songs
which, don't really stand out or are really great tracks in particulair. Then you hear the
song Slave by Raudive. Which is a song which isn't really a great song, because of the
rather disturbing 'slave to the rythm', although the rythm is rather catchy. It makes it a
rather neutral song. But then there is the Ricardo Villalobos remix of Massive Attack's
Paradise Cricus, which is a highlight on their album Heligoland. This one is enhanced
concerning the melody beacuse of the piano tune put into it and some strikes. Then you got a
slightly less epic song, Hello Georgous. But after that it builds up again with the
Operation remixed by Superpitcher. Which is, a bit of a disturbing song concerning lyrics
but nonetheless the funny kind of disturbing in my opinion. The Bright Forest might be the
whole climax of the whole mix. The slow but fantastic build up in this 7 min. song. Then the
album ends with a hopeful goodbye kiss. Suburb buildup I would say but, it isn't all just
one eargasm, but still has some really awesome tracks, which you might never come across by
yourself. |
