I'm 22 and I still listen to this album about 3-4 times a week; you have no idea what this means to me. Too much. I am a musician now because of their music- it's no surprise to me that I've yet to find another band to top the Record Play; all of this revival shit nowadays is soo jacked, jaded, and misinformed. This album is thoughtful, honest, and sincere. The passage of time is so becoming of the lyrics and reflects how deeply it has run with me all these years. I know that this is one of the albums, if there were any to pick from, that I would absolutely insist to show to younger generations, older generations and just about anyone. This music changed my life and i understand this is totally a subjective standpoint to have; but you have to understand that I regard it, I have taken it apart, I have reverse-engineered emotions, I have reconsidered thoughts, I have learned how to grow up, how to grow down, and how to live amongst my own thoughts in peace and in strife. This is steady as time and portrays enough flux for me to feel instinctual every time I listen to it. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Man i'm so emotional when it comes to this record.
