4.5 superb
Circles The Compass
I just started getting into djent, and the one thing that i turning me off from most of the bands is the
incessant screaming that defines the vocal lines in most of the bands out there. While the instrumentals are
not as technically complicated as some other bands, I think the excellent singing makes up for it. This is a
fairly unique work and I really am enjoying listening to it.

Periphery Periphery II: This Time It's Personal
Robert Glasper Canvas
Such a beautiful album, while Glasper doesn't often show his virtuosity, he moves his listeners with his exceptional voicings and melodies. One of my favorite jazz albums to date.
