| When Woe, Is Me released "I've Told You Once," I was slightly worried about how the rest of rthe album was going to sound. While "I've Told You Once" was okay, it was plagued by boring rand repetitve "chug chug chug" guitars that never change tone throughout the song, and rhorrendous lyrics like "it must be hard to talk shit with a dick in your throat." I've rfinally gotten around to listening to the full album... And wow. Every song sounds EXACTLY rthe same. And are ruined by the same things that flawed "I've Told You Once"... Shitty rdjent-like guitars that never change tone and horrible, HORRIBLE lyrics. The screaming rvocalist, while not a bad vocalist, isn't all that great and lacks variety in his screams. rNot even the clean vocalists nor the guest vocalists can save this album. Stay far, far away rfrom Genesi[s]. |
